My wife and I are seniors that thoroughly loved the movie. Yes the original version came out before we were born, but we had seen the animated original during periodic reruns while we were kids. Do not be swayed by the negative critics reviews. Its a splendid movie with an expanded updated plot that will appeal to all ages from elementary school up.
