There's your point-of-view, my point-of-view, and somewhere in-between lies the truth.
Overall, it was great to hear Harry & Meghan's story from their own point of view. It would also have been great to learn of any decisions 'they' may have made that might have contributed to the relationship breakdowns. That is all that was missing for me.
It seems only fitting that Harry & Meghan would be compensated for telling their own story. The "Institution" has made millions from Colonies of Color as well as Harry & Meghans popularity; and the British tabloids have made millions publishing lies about Meghan. But for some reason, some folks have a problem with Harry & Meghan being compensated for telling their own story. Really?
What a missed opportunity for the British as the Commonwealth continues to shrink. Perhaps Meghan could have helped being a woman of color. I wanted to believe it, but we all knew deep down inside that her acceptance was the 'real fairytale'.
No matter what she had done, this was how it was always going to end. The racism is real, and the roots run too deep.
We have watched Harry for years be in his brothers shadow. He has finally found some happiness & the brits are still trying to control his narrative.
I am so glad he got himself & his family out of all that. Life is too short.
Cheers!
