Honestly they could have changed the plot to fit different from the books but instead they also decided to change who Artemia Fowl is, by changing him from this know it all, genius criminal mastermind who depends on only himself and perhaps Butler to a little boy who doesn’t know much about anything outside of his immediate surroundings and is helpless and mainly dependent of his father. I merely watched 30 mins of the movie and I just stopped because it wasn’t just different but the book but it also portrayed the main thing that made Artemis Fowl such a unique book and turned it into the usual stereotypical movies where a child is the protagonist.
