Teal Fellowes – Google

With any work of art you need to be able to appreciate the medium and read between the lines. Not all art appeals to all people. This is not your everyday ordinary movie experience. If you have enjoyed theatre growing up, or understand how it works, you would probably enjoy this film. It is necessary to like cats of course, or at least not dislike them. A love of singing and dancing is also helpful. The audience we were a part of was about 98% people over 70, with only three children. If you like movies with lots of dialog or action, you probably won't like this. I think it is definitely worth experiencing at least once.

I don't usually write reviews for films I've seen, but this was so bad I feel like I owe it to the public to at least warn them of what they're in for if they do decide to waste two hours and three minutes of their lives (if they stay that long). We went to see this expecting an amazing and deep space movie (hopeful of seeing some alien life) but instead found ourselves enveloped with deep boredom and sadness of having wasted a Saturday night. Brad Pitt was amazing as he always is but even he couldn't save this movie, and Tommy Lee Jones was only in it for a few minutes. The scenes of gore were completely unnecessary as was the entire story-line. We were falling asleep after the first 20 minutes. You keep expecting something to happen, but it just keeps dragging itself along until it abruptly ends and you feel such relief at being able to leave the theatre.
