Barely watchable. More plot holes than a fishing net. Unprofessional spies and hitmen who use mobile phones wihout being tracked. A James Bond level crime family who dominate internationally while being beyond incompetent. This series tries and fails to be clever. The Gentlemen it is not. The only vaguely interesting characters are the Irish and Welsh hit women. Please don't make a second series.

Starts well but craters during episode 3 and beyond. Incongruent, uncoordinated and frankly incredible plot lines drag this down to a max 3 stars. Mixes romanticised family mustering with ignored murders and attempted murders. Miraculous recoveries and plotting billionaires. Too many incoherent threads to make this work.

Naive and cliched writing. Utterly predictable. Pity as episode 1 was an excellent setup for a good drama, but that was it. I dropped it after episode 3...

A masterpiece... contemporary, topical, looks at all the angles. I truly hope there's a second series.

Does everybody live in a comic book now? I would have loved this up until I was 12... ok, maybe 13 at a push. No story worth telling, neither drama nor fantasy. The number of five star reviews confirms that the emotional and intellectual depth of the human race is plummeting quicker than melting ice in the Sahara.

Clichéd garbage for under 12s, the intellectually vacant and those who think a shootout in every scene is how to make films.

Unwatchable from the first scene.

Lawrence of Arabia's Alexander defeats The Spanish Inquisition's version of Darius of Persia. No historical coherence whatsoever. Watch if you want a truly mindless film.

Powerful, attention holdin, real and unsettling.
