Doesn’t follow the book. Also, Annabeth’s skin is dark in the film. Now I’m not racist, let me explain. The book has very iconic characters, including Annabeth and Percy. In the book, Annabeth has blonde hair and blue eyes, like her mother Athena and Percy has black hair. To me who read the book first, these changes kinda ruined it for me. To all y’all who would say ‘he picked Annabeth black because the actor fit the character’ -if a white actor portrayed a black character that would’ve been considered racist. I don’t get it
