Howard Needham

The story line was weak and it was incredibly slow to develop. Long sections of the film were were so dark, it was impossible to follow what these sequences were trying to portray. The theme was too mature for children and too banal for adults. It was not Dev Patel's most engaging performance and I am truly amazed that some professional critics rated it as high as they did.
