I watched this movie and although funny and cringe-worthy it’s also extremely dangerous. Matt's entire premise in this movie looks at the microscopic pieces of individual racism and white fragility instead of the systemic racism that OSS plaguing our country. Slavery DID happen The irradiation of indigenous people did happen Jim Crow did happen Civil Rights was a real movement Segregation happened Redlining still happens Mass incarceration still happens Disproportionately discriminate sentencing within the criminal justice system STILL happens Home loan discrimination STILL happens Job and employment discrimination STILL happens To make satire of these real topics and dismiss the issue as a leftist crackpot ideology is triflin as hell.
