I am really annoyed this was cancelled. Such a clever show that could have gone on longer by a season or two. Drew Barrymore is fantastic. In fact everyone is great. I dodged this for awhile, thought it was going to be rubbish. But I've loved it. I hope it gets revived. It's still got life. No pun intended.

I really like this positive movie. It seems the critics don't, so make up your own mind and watch before dismissing it out of hand. Good, if you need a little boost. Robin Williams showing a little kindness goes a long way... :-)

Cack. Was he really a psycho transvestite bisexual? Movie descends into chaos, by the time it is over you don't even care.

Superior remake. Lots of sly humour and Bill Nighy steals the show. A feast for the eyes, the grand houses and countryside are amazing. Great acting and perfect casting. One small grievance...was it necessary to ass flash (two times)? Not in keeping with the times, or even the style of this film. Aside from that, a really good movie all round.

Kick ass fun movie. Lots of stunts, action and fights. Margot Robbie keeps it fresh. Hard to find Ewan McGregor sinister though, look at it as comic book fun.

A watery and watered down Alien derivative type movie. Bland or annoying characters. The underwater scenes are a little too murky, can't make out what we are actually supposed to be afraid of. Can't even remember any dialogue, it's instantly forgettable. Kristen Stewart doesn't inspire, crying too much, not enough attitude. Running around in her underwear, really? It's all been done before and done better, nothing fresh here...

Oh my goodness. This movie is horrible to watch. A Lovecraftian and Stephen King hybrid nightmare. Filmed in black and white, the bleakness of the landscape, lighthouse and island offers no relief for the eye or mind. Two Lighthouse keepers get cabin fever and antagonize each other (as they maintain and work with no other company) the tension between them builds. I found it pretty disturbing and it is not going to appeal to a lot of people.

Lives up to the hype. Joaquin Phoenix is the ultimate Joker and a great dancer. :-) The tale unfolds, leaving us feeling sorry for him, even as he goes full on psycho. Probably the best movie in 2019. (Well deserved win for Joaquin Phoenix!)

I think dolls are creepy anyway, so this worked for me. Acting is fine. Effects are not OTT, letting your imagine do some of the grafting. Been to a curiosity shop recently, and there was an Annabelle type doll, needless to say I moved on pretty damn quick. So yeah, as a horror, it does the job just fine...

Ed Norton investigates the murder of his friend/boss, Bruce Willis. His tourette's syndrome is very much a part of his character, an unwelcome occupier in his head. It's not used for humour much, just occasionally. Most of the time it's sympathy we feel for him. It's a fairly dark themed film, dealing with displacement of poor people to make way for new development. Seriously good acting by all. Alec Baldwin is the egotistical power mad bad guy.
