Definitely better than I expected after reading so many bad reviews. It was very much like the original but with a southern twist. I think I will always like the original better but this adaptation was just as entertaining. I was also suprised by Anne Hathaway’s performance, I thought I would truest hate it but it too was surprisingly good- she met my expectations for the character which I didn’t think would be possible- Overall it was an enjoyable film.
