Very disappointing! The script was poorly written, although the actors tried their best to work with what they had. Ethan, Hawkes, character, in particular, was bland and emotional during very emotional scenes. Julie Roberts close-ups were odd, and her portrayal was jerky and unrealistic due to very confusing emotional ships. I could not become connected to any character or any scene. The scene at the beach was much too long and also unrealistic. Probably the driverless cars was the only somewhat tense spot. The deer were confusing the confrontation on his front porch, refusing to give them medication ended with giving them medication so it was very anticlimactic There was very little about this movie that was truly frightening, and the ending navigated any apocalyptic thought.
