Adipurush is a regrettable waste of time and money. It fails to honor the essence of Ramayana and instead indulges in superficial gimmicks. As viewers, we deserved better— a cinematic experience that truly pays homage to our great cultural heritage. Unfortunately, Adipurush falls painfully short, leaving a bitter taste and tarnishing the legacy of the Ramayana.
In contrast, the Ramayana portrayed by Ramanand Sagarji stands as a shining example of excellence. Despite lacking VFX and a mega-budget, the Ramanand Sagar version captivated viewers with its authenticity, strong storytelling, and reverence for the source material. The stark contrast between Adipurush and the timeless classic by Sagarji only reinforces the respect and admiration we have for the latter.
