I’d read the in-depth testimonies of quite a few of those interviewed and I couldn’t wait to watch. However, I was disappointed because, whether inadvertently or not, this film gives the impression that a personal faith in Jesus is not central to going to heaven—and that’s both misleading and dangerous. The documentary does a good job of showing that there’s life after death, but then includes that God gives people from all religions this experience (which He does!) yet doesn’t go on unequivocally to show that these people discovered that life in heaven after death is incumbent upon what you believed about Jesus before you died. I was all set to blast my social media feeds to promote this movie and now I can’t. This documentary seriously downplayed the centrality and utmost importance of Jesus and the cross and I can’t promote it.
