It seems to me...well no it's blatant, that any ounce of condescending or "hey this is weird and quirky" (which is Wes Anderson films entirely) makes people pissy, because of their own insecurities. It was fun, it was a Wes Anderson film. I am not a huge fan of him, but I can appreciate fun art when I see it.
