I really wanted to like this… and power through end the first season. But some of these characters are so annoying and poorly produced. The druid.. Every episode, every action, every time another character ask her to do something it’s this self loathing “uh, so don’t know if I can do this”, “oh, on no guys, I don’t know”. Then some music kicks up and every time it’s this “BAM I DID it, Omg I did it!!” And que heroic music. If she truly is that unsure, is the story that they are the chosen ones to save kingdoms and the world even believable? The brooding brother… once again. Every time, every conversation. Same with Persey. The Gnomes are well written, then Barbarian (except having the scream, “time to rage”, every time he rages. I mean it’s not an airport you do not have to announce everything. Throw in the rip offs (not homage) to LoTR, Last air bender, and every other fantasy movie made… it’s like a lack of its own creativity. And the characters are not a strong collective on their own to over look the bad writing. I wanted to like this. But half way through the second season and I just could not get through all the flaws, poor writing, annoying characters, and constant virtue signaling…
