I have no idea why this series has such high ratings. I don't care that the acting or production is good, I got half way through season 1 and none of the characters outside of Claire and Frank are remotely worth rooting for, every male character outside of Jaime and Frank are rapists and even Jamie (who is made out to be a good guy) also proves to be a wife beater once he marries Claire and the audience is slowly groomed into blaming her for her repeated assaults over time for "putting herself" in that situation. The entire show is nothing more than fap material for rapists, the director of this show belongs on a watch list somewhere, only a predator would enjoy filming this garbage.
