First, let me start by saying that I enjoyed the film. However I think some people may find it a little boring and lacking action. The plot is decent.. nothing overly gripping and the film itself isn’t really going to have you on the edge of your seat or overly invested. It’s a plain movie. Very basic. But I will say, that what stood out for me was the extremely strong acting. James Gandolfini was damn good as he was in pretty much anything he was in. Famke Janssen was great as well. The movie had a solid cast and another thing that was done well was the character development. The main characters have a lot of depth to them and their behavior and backstory’s/life story’s were written and directed well. In conclusion the movie is very basic in plot with not much excitement or strong entertainment to offer but if you’re someone who likes the drama genre and appreciate real life-romantic type stuff or movies where the characters go through real life struggles and hardships, you’ll probably like this film.
