The show starts off great; the 1st half of season 1 is funny and lighthearted, and focuses on therapist Jimmy who, in spite of going through a depression, is bubbling over with positivity. Each of the characters introduced in the show are quirky and interesting. Jimmy uses an unorthodox real world therapy approach with patients that is unethical but fun.
Unfortunately, the 2nd half of season 1 gets bogged down with dick jokes and sex dialogue that ranges from inappropriate to quite disgusting. Gaby's character especially, really overdoes it. And the way that the adults talk about sex around or with Jimmy's 17 yr old daughter Alice is inappropriate. It is a really unfortunate distraction from an otherwise good show. They also get away from working with patients, which really is the premise of the show. I felt I was just grinding through the last episodes.
