Just watched tail end of children of Catholic priests. A very disappointing show considering the Catholic Church has resisted for centuries recognising the children of priests. Why is this? Because if the CC recognises one such case it may be sued for compensation and if it is demonstrated that the priest was in a long term relationship with the mother of the child that woman may look to have a case for living permanently in the home of the priest. That will never happen as long as the CC is in denial about these women and their children.
