I did enjoy this movie. My issues are first world ones. I wish that JL was more naturally aged. She seems too made up for this part. It seems like a disconnect on her part from the “average” person. She got too caught up in Hollywood. The main male character was wonderful. Very realistic. I liked the shared perception of current societal issues of anxiety in the helicoptered child. That was cool. I just wish movies today would stay truer to grass roots. Guess that makes me old. 🫶 Not bad; worth the watch.
