My kids wanted to see this. I didn't know what to expect. The film exceeded my expectations. It was a lot of fun, very well done. They did a great job incorporating the look and feel of the original, while modernizing it without overdoing things. The music was good...I don't think it's better than the original, but the old songs have had eons to etch themselves into our memory. Well casted, especially loved seeing Dick Van Dyke. Kids and kids at heart will love "Mary Poppins Returns"!!
