Great 70's cult film with high production value, cinematography (shot on 16mm) and atmosphere for the horror/Sci-Fi genre. When I was growing up I thought this was a Hammer Horror film. It was the type of movie your could watch on a Saturday afternoon as a kid. Peter Cushing and John Carradine are superb along with then newcomer Brooke Adams. With the resurgence of Zombie flicks due to The Walking Dead, "Shock Waves" still delivers and is a must see. Check out the Special Edition DVD if you can which has edifying extras if you are an aspiring filmmaker or film buff.
