I loved this movie! Believe me, I was hesitant because it looked kind of gritty and when I read it was set in an African prison where the inmates ran the place I thought, better keep the remote in hand and a finger planted on fast forward. I chose to watch it despite my concerns because of the high marks for storytelling. I'm a budding African American writer with a fascination for how story is conveyed by different cultures, including my own. If you like your storytelling with a twist, this movie will not disappoint.
