⚠️warning: spoilers⚠️ i liked it at first when i started the series, but it turned out to be a really bad and underdeveloped show. the dialogue is cheesy, and tried so hard to write in funny jokes but failed miserably. it was overall a bad and unrealistic representation of the LGBTQ community. victor and benjis relationship was super toxic from the get go, victor is a badly written character and all the “character arcs” throughout the series are very abrupt. and not to mention, the show also tries to put a spotlight on cheating thinks to normalize it for the sake of victor “finding his true love and entering his magical romance” or “oopsies i had a wild encounter with rahim”. season 2 was probably the best written out of the 3 up until that very moment in the last episode. season 3 was horribly rushed and just a shit show. if i were you reading this i’d probably watch an incredible show that represents LGBTQ and mental health in a much more phenomenal way like heartstopper.
