Really too complex and not written in a way that can be easily followed. Almost gets boring and goes off course, jumps around and then back again too often. With far too much fantasy influence for my taste. Was, however, later adapted for the pilot for the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation "Where No One Has Gone Before" - with a much better result.
