The recent release of The Crown? I'm positive much of it is contrived, loosely, very, based on Lady Diana's final weeks and death. Nonetheless, I do remember 25 years ago, for example, being very moved and surprised by HRH Charle's flying to Paris and bringing Diana home on a Royal Jet. He stepped up to the plate. Ditto for the Queen coming home to London and addressing the world. It was an important moment. Fiction it be, it did not forget the Fayed family's story, especially in mourning, who didn't get much press here. Whether Dodi proposed, I believe the story that Diana would have wanted to be friends with Dodi for a good while before stepping once again into a marriage. I can't wait to see the conclusion. And I'm sure the Royal Family will be equally happy that it is done and over with.
