What happend to "Nothing is true; everything is permitted"? This game overall lacks a plot for the main story. Most of the quests and side quests are seemingly ridiculous, the mechanics, armor, weapons, and abilities just don't cut it for me, and I'm left Disappointed with the ending of the main story campaign. The Mastery Challenges are a joke as you can't wear your own specific armor, weapons and just do things your OWN way as an assassin TRULY would, and there's nothing to gain by completing them such as unlocking those doors in the cave near your settlement. Meanwhile The DLC's fail to deliver like Dawn of Ragnarok for instance which definitely lacks a story line, plot, and most of all a real connection playing as Odin in addition to not allowing you to use the Hugr Rip, or transforming into a raven outside of the DLC which again, is wasted effort as you're running all over the place to upgrade this awesome item and unique abilities. Why are we establishing trade routes that never get attacked? While most of us are in an open world running around chasing tattoo designs across rooftops which again seems a bit ridiculous there's no feeling in building a settlement when we're all left to wonder if Eivor ever formed guilds instead of short alliances in England that are cut short. The game just doesn't deliver a true viking feeling, adventure, or experience for me. What about king Harold in Norway? I Would like to see an epic confrontation between Eivor and Harold. What about the rise of the templar order like Aelfred mentioned at the end of the main story? I feel a lot is left out and left to our imagination Finally I'd like to see Eivor form assassin guilds all over England and how he/she ended up buried in Vinland.
