To the extent it was almost porn is to the extent it was almost good. So it sucked. Not like "sucked" but regular sucked.

Super Spoiler: Thinking nuclear sisters Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Radiation...bumbling Americans and the most worshipful Emperor Hirohito. Even ole dad builds Japanese Zero canopies.

Sword fight, sword fight DAD? Sword fight, sword fight MOM? Add cautious interracial crush, geriatric lesbians and roll the credits. Family Guy does better.

Not bad, Temp. I feel Novak missed some opportunities for a really good movie but he held it together nicely enough. And a strong performance from most. The overarching plot is fun and some of the innuendo is tangy and fresh but, for the most part, I was mildly hanging on and waiting for a surprise at the end and it was a little fun surprise ending because punked. The red state/ blue state stuff could have been far expanded and woven with the phone notions a lot more. But I'm brain dead on my dumb phone right now.

I slept through the whole thing. Brilliantly boring.
