Thought it was good from half way onwards. The start seemed very rushed like everything had happened so fast from meeting the exorcist to the family and then boom child possed. The acting was very mediocre I feel Russel Crowe being such a good actor just carried it all. There were actually parts I was laughing I didn't get the scare factor from it I think because there was no relationship with characters established from the start because it was so rushed to get to the possession. I mean the child got possessed instantly from being in the basement and then not long Gabriel shows us like it was so fast pace. I mean we didn't even hear the child speak then next thing were seeing him possessed just very very rushed but I mean wasn't the worst I've watched.

Waste of a film honestly. Storyline was non existent and it just made no sense and felt so rushed zero character development. Compared to all the other texas chainsaws (huge fan of all of them) which were so well done especially the beginning (2006). This one was such a disappointment. Wouldn't even watch it if you haven't seen it already waste of time.
