I have so many things to say. the first being: what? the name of this movie "The SECRETS of DUMBLEDORE" is completely misleading. the only "secret" even related to the family was Credence's heritage, which was easily the biggest letdown, like, ever. I remember watching the Crimes of Grindelwald, and hearing that his name was Aurelius Dumbledore, and audibly gasping. But apparently he's just Aberforth's long lost son? Excuse me? The entire ending with Aberforth and Credence felt like Credence's story was over, with literally zero explanation as to why Credence was still alive with his obscurus, why he was in America, what the heck Corvus Lestrange has to do with anything, the baby swap (which Grindelwald DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT, BTW), and pretty much anything else related to our favorite deadly black cloud. not to mention that it pretty much erased all the betrayals and sacrifices that happened in the end of COG. Leta? mentioned once. Queenie? the only purpose she had there was causing Jacob emotional distress and occasionally covering for Credence, even though she was the only reason he needed to be covered for. Nagini? who? I personally liked Mads Mikkelsen as Grindelwald, though Johnny Depp was preferable, and the acting in this movie is good, but the writing is just garbage. We waited nearly 3 and a half years to watch this movie. That means they had 3.5 years to develope a decent screenplay. And this is what we got? Thanks, J.K, but i'm gonna let you try again. Please rename the film: Fantastic Beasts: The Disappointments of Dumbledore.
