I can truly say hand on heart that Ricky Gervais wouldn't be up there in my best actor or comedian category BUT I was absolutely blown away by both his performance and creativity in this darkly comedic yet poignant take on bereavement. It had my wife and I in tears and laughter in equal measure. Really sorry to see it end after only 3 series. Even Anti, the German Shepherd tugged at our heart strings, having lost both of our dogs 12 months ago. They just give 110% of love and devotion as was portrayed in this moving series. Hopefully the final series will again win the NTA's again. Truly deserving and inspiring. Well done Ricky and the cast for such a wonderful experience.
