IT:S ABOUT TIME!! I've been a dispatcher at numerous agencies. I worked as a Citywide NYPD dispatcher for 15 years. When any of the police, fire, or ems call for help it's not God they call, it's Central, HQ, dispatch, Troop. We hear the last breathes of a lot of people and they tell us to give messages to family members that they love them as I had to do working 16 hours on September 11th. It takes a unique individual to handle the initial call for someone in there darkest hour. Words can't express the thank you for this show AND for every calltaker and dispatcher who sacrifice themselves, there families, there health, and there sanity. From the bottom of my heart thank you to my brothers and sisters world wide and the emergency responders in the tight web of being in the business of saving lives.
