I'm actually a bit concerned about this show, especially last night's episode. But before I comment on that, what is going on with the 'pre-school', it's nothing like any pre-school I've ever seen. All nice and shiny and clean, rather like the children themselves.
Last night's episode dealt with friendship, from what I could gather. But in a very American way. Why ask children who they would like to be friends with, without considering what the outcome would be? Which was to leave three little girls wondering why none of the boys liked them. Is this the new norm for four-year old's, to be boyfriend and girlfriend? I hope not, as none of my children or current grandchildren ever mentioned this to me. One little boy was put on the spot during the (unnecessary) interviews, he had no idea what to say to one very savvy little girl who knew exactly what she was doing. I really felt for his confusion.
As for all the tests, we have all seen our own children fib, pass the buck, etc. Nothing new there.
