Where is the story telling? What did I just watch? A comic book turned into a movie?
The film moves so quickly from scene to scene, in a flash manner, as if you’re swiping through reels. There’s not enough talking and story telling. We couldn’t even finish the movie.
Also it highlighted the race conservancy and risqué moves. However, there was so much more to Elvis. I would have enjoyed a slower pace movie that captured the true nature of Elvis and his life, career and relationships.
What a shame.
Good movies would be Walk the Line, bohemian rhapsody, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin. Idk what this movie style is called but it’s a shame for Elvis fans.
They chose a perfect Elvis. But everything else failed. Hopefully another Elvis movie is done.
