I used this book and Barbara Sher's techniques, for " wishing" and " crafting" out a plan , 30? Years ago, ( 1986)...to plan out how to go from being a fine art student to a veterinarian. Thanks to Barbara Sher's " bubble chart " process, I mapped out a path. I used a 4 foot by 30 inch?roll of paper taped on my wall, as a lot of things had to come together to " get accepted to a vet school." Some things changed along the way, and it took a little longer , but I had multiple streams of doable steps to follow , mapped out to avoid getting "muddled or discouraged" in the middle" , or putting the cart before the horse ... I had some luck/blessings along the way, and a lot of encouragement. I graduated in 1995 as a DVM. I am forever grateful to Barbara Sher, who gave me a way of planning that really worked for me. Her " bubble chart and other organizational steps ( applying the chart to a timeline line) has worked for other difficult projects ( like getting my taxes done!) I don't know how the new version differs from the older version, but I'm sure it will be equally helpful.
