This book needs to be in every public library, school library and bookshop in the land. It hurts me to dwell on how this story could have saved me had I read it as a ten-year-old — yet therein lies its beautiful magic. Yes, this story is for children who may be questioning who they are, but it's also for those seeking an uplifting tale about a young boy who triumphs over adversity and ultimately shows the world why he's so fabulous. Darn it, this story is for everyone! Although this book has arrived too late for me, countless others are now asking the same clumsy questions I did. They're looking for reassurance; they're looking for a sense of belonging... they are looking for Glitter Boy.

A simply beautiful little book that has survived the true test of time. The magic is in its simplicity. Every toddler should own a copy.
