The writers managed to get you invested with real stakes. This is something that the Prequels and Sequels and Solo all struggled with. Obi-Wan is vulnerable , not the OP superhero mowing down droids by the thousand. He has a real goal which makes sense. His opponents are not mindless. They have some real menace and I like the conflict they depict amongst the Dark Side conspirators. The seedy world of Episode 2 is a supersized, colourful, enthralling Mos Eisley / Turkish Bazaar. Ewan is great, he has always been terrific, to be fair. This is all shaping to be even more interesting and entertaining than the Mandalorian… If this is the blueprint for Star Wars on Disney+ then Andor and Ahsoka will also help repair reputations and reinvigorate interest in people under 40 in the Star Wars Universe again.
