Although there are some significant changes from the fantastic book by Jack Carr this series is still on point. Great performance from Chris Pratt as a very dangerous man pushed beyond the point of return.

Sturgill Simpson is an artist that refuses to bend to expectations. This album is absolutely fantastic. Following a Grammy winning country album that was more “What’s Going On” than traditional county with a rock album with heavy synth, smoldering guitar riffs, and disco bass grooves… Genius. The album is a triple FU to the industry as well. First by being a rock album when the label expected a county record. Second with Sturgill’s seething lyrics. Third by pushing the release two years so the animated film could be complete. Sturgill is an outlaw in the purest form. Doing it his way and delivering every time.
