Well, I enjoyed it greatly. Wife didn't, but she had never read the book. I read it 36 years ago and was surprised that I could remember names like Gurney Halleck and gom jabbar. Any film misses out lots of detail from a book, but otherwise, I thought it was a pretty faithful attempt at the original story. Just occasionally, I was jolted back to reality, e.g. when characters said things like "Oh s***!". It is all paving the way for Dune 3 ...
