Donna Houser

This movie/musical version of The Color Purple followed the storyline with respect. However, the addition of the wonderful choreography and the dynamic singing and staging made this my favorite treatment of the book. The acting was outstanding and Fantasia and Taraji in the lead roles were not to be missed! Oscar buzz should be surrounding this cast and movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
