Game bans you for anything. I don't mean quick chatting. I tabbed out, 5 minute ban. Teammate leaves tournament, 10 minute ban. Btw, the game was over in that tournament. Also it looks s owned by epic and they are removing trading. But who am I to judge, I just spent my entire life setting in a room playing digital car soccer :)
