as an old Pom I thoroughly enjoyed the gritty humour, sympathised with the young Fred wanting to climb the ladder of success and get out of his working class family, and loved the happy yet believable ending.

Murder Mystery must be the worst, badly acted, film since the beginning of cinematography. How could the brilliant actor Terence Stamp bring himself to be in it, however briefly. If the producers tried to emulate the old Buster Keaton movies, they failed miserably.
