This film is very good for a low budget, b-horror movie. The actors tried their best with a little accidental over-acting but with very nice performances. The special effects are simple and the scenery is minimal which adds to the isolation of this movie. The movie is very spooky and good for a fictious historical horror. If you are into Dario Argento or Fulci style films you probably won't like the style of this one. It doesn't have a maximalism style backdrop or over the top theatrical scenes. For a ghost story, it's good. The dog song was super creepy.
