I really wanted to like this game and even love it so trust me when I say I came into this giving it a full try and not trying to let nostalgia ruin a new game. This game misses the mark in many ways and there are simple quality of life things that would be so easy to implement but the creators chose not to where it kind of makes me go "why?". I would go back to playing the original harvest moon also made by these creators. It feels like a game they made to compete with stardew valley and animal crossing instead of allowing itself to be the game that inspired all of the farm sim genre to begin with.
