Dustin Riddle

Massive letdown. I'm not invested in the characters. I don't get the feeling that the writer knows his characters or believes in them. Hats off for giving it a go. I don't really enjoy the time it's set in or the confused tone of the entire season. The first one was incredible. It was one of the most well rounded shows I had seen in a long time. I don't even really like animation but I fell in love with it. It takes incredible talent to make a show that lands the way that one did. It takes heart, passion, conviction, and so much more that nocturne seems to lack. They had to change writers due to some drama which is whatever. None of us will ever really know sitting in the bleachers anyway. Whatever happened this one unfortunately missed its mark. Maybe these poor reviews will force better standards for consumers and fans.
