I am thoroughly delighted with this book. It is so informative. I bought it twice as my cat destroyed my first copy. My initial use of mullein resulted in the astounding relief of coughing spasms that I have endured for decades. Then to discover that weeds I've been battling for years in my garden are actually nutritious vegetables and others have remarkable medicinal properties, has set me on an entire new path. I recognize that stringent research has not been conducted on many of these claims but I have also endured the side effects of prescribed medication that supposedly had gone through rigorous research. I recommend this book to everyone. Even if you choose not to use it for remedies, discovering the multitude of edible, beneficial plants that can be easily found is worth the price of the book. If you have no way or desire to go foraging, all of the herbs can be purchased on line. FYI I prefer the layout of the 2021 edition.

I only watched a few episodes of the first season. I enjoy comedy, but found this too silly. I also suspect that there is a subtle goal to immasculate the darker skinned male character in making him not only unisex, but pregnant and incubating an egg as well. If the psychological motive is to reduce the stereotype of the menacing black figure, maybe it worked. I didn't care for it. I recently thought to try Orville again, then I saw the video mocking Discovery. Are the producers threatened by that show? Was that necessary? Jealous of the textured characters, the far superior production quality, and the intriguing plot development? I would like to think that Seth is too intelligent to be the class clown who pokes fun at others to make himself feel good. Rivalry, to drive up ratings? Actors on both shows are professional artists. Let's not devolve into the nasty zeitgeist that permeates our culture at this time. Just do work you are proud of. Don't demean others. Best of luck.
