The film is a 'tour de force'. There are small issues I have with a few of the scenes, regarding the distraction sometimes of the 'boiling' effect of the painting of hair, for instance, and sometimes the stunning visual effect is overwhelming and distracts from the narrative. But, it is an incredible achievement technically and artistically and deserves the many accolades and awards. It represents another landmark in the history of film-making and a permanent inspiration to other filmmakers wishing to innovate and break rules.
