The premise is good - find an outstanding chef to defeat one of the Iron Chefs. The challenges were good, and the resulting dishes created by these talented chefs were incredible. However, there were two aspects of the show i was unhappy about. One is that a couple of the guest judges were weak and unqualified to critique the dishes. Saying "It tasted good!" and" I couldn't stop eating this." are not critiques. I didn't think these unprofessional judges should have been allowed to determine the fate of the challenging chefs. Secondly, the last episode in which the winning challenger goes up against all five Iron Chefs was glaringly unfair, bordering on ridiculous. I doubt that even one of the Iron Chefs would be able to defeat all the other four Iron Chefs The arrogant, cliquey celebration displayed at the end by the five Iron Chefs was unkind and demeaning to challenging chef. This final episode ruined the entire series for me.
