I am not a big fan of the regular movies casting violence, vengeance and anti social scenarios. I am giving this movie a 5 star rating for showing that movies can be made in our own land with every cast performing at their best on a very positive role. I loved the village setup, simple comedies and great direction. We thoroughly enjoyed the movie as a family. I loved the professor starting a free session for village kids, just wish it happens in reality too. Our wish was just that the friend was given credits, couldnt even find her name. Her acting was spectacular. Very good movie, keep making such good movies.

I give 5 stars for the biography part of the movie, It literally moved our hearts and pierced. As all the other people have shared for the action, direction and also salute to Savithiri Amma for her true spirits. I really pray that the people who cheated on her suffer and repent and ask for her forgiveness! Why I have given 3 stars: I neither dont know who funds to show a smart gold medalist brahmin girl falling for a christian boy nor a father of such a girl who decide to tie her knot to a sloppy 10th grader. Guys, please wake up to this slow poisoning. If you dare put another religion girl marrying a hindu smart boy. Film industry does have influence on people. My teenager daughter after watching the movie told me that Savithiri Amma has inspired her to make something good out of her in supporting people who have fallen to addiction since truly there are not many rehabs available for people to get back on track. Lets inspire people and not divide and merge with religion. Religion is a way of living, Our ancestral tradition of marrying within the caste/religion has a lot to do to keep the common daily habits intact rather than loosing everything. Grow up citizens, Dont encourage this culture. I stand up for my Religion and Dont want anyone to abuse us anymore!
