SPOILER ALERT..
Its not at all what i expected. Sesshomaru's and Rin's daughters (Towa and Setsuna) are the main characters. I would watch the first couple episodes until the return to the past.
After that the show drags. So skip until episode 15.
In between that episode and episode 15. They mostly try to get Setsuna's dreams back. They bounty hunt with Moroha (inyuasha's and Kagome's daughter). Miroku and Sango live apart due to miroku training for 1000 days, and it seems the family is in shambles. And that's pretty much it so it drags a bunch.
